TO COMMISSION A PORTRAIT OR PORTRAIT FICTION
Contact the artist to discuss your ideas and / or set up a photo session or studio visit. Each portrait is a unique and personal work of art, and is also a collaboration between artist and client.
Prices will vary based on size, level of detail and subjects. Shelley very often does multi-canvas paintings when portraying siblings (avoiding ownership squabbles), so that would also factor into pricing.
The completion time will also vary based on the above factors.

Basic Price Schedule:
- Head/bust . . . . . $1,200 - 2,500
- Torso . . . . . $2,600 - 5,000
- Full . . . . . $5,500 - 15,000
Complex setting and Dreamscapes can add $2,000 - $4,000.
This is a general price range and is subject to size, complexity and various other aspects of creating a unique work of fine art.
The Basic Commission Process:
- Initial discussion.
- Photo session $250 (non-refundable).
- Detailed colored rendering (usually three concepts), but can involve several more renderings)
- Acceptance of concept, size and price and sign off on Commission Contract with deposit of 20% non-refundable.
- Balance due upon completion.
